Recess: A Practical Guide for Trials Against Humanity, directed by Félix Bruzzone, Mónica Zwaig & Juan Schnitman.
Created by the Argentine writer Félix Bruzzone, whose parents are 'disappeared', and the French-Argentine lawyer and writer Mónica Swaig, the piece introduces a novel approach to the crimes committed inside ESMA during the dictatorship from the fresh perspective of a younger generation. Drawing upon an acid sense of humour, the legal proceedings set by the piece are light-heartedly grounded while providing basic tips on how to survive in courts.

Anti-visit. Ways of entering and leaving ESMA, directed by Mariana Eva Pérez, Laura Kalauz, and Miguel Algranti.
An experimental guided tour around the ESMA Museum and Memorial Site, which has the peculiarity of taking place in another physical space. It takes the form of a drift, a detour that pays attention to the spectral dimension of forced disappearance, promoting dialogue and coexistence with ghosts within the framework of a performative experience. The piece is constructed as a hybrid format capable of producing this crossover between theatrical representation and historical narrative.

Four performance tours unfold simultaneously in an outdoor space, led by eight actresses. Each performer tells the story of a woman interviewed by the Family Biographical Archive of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, whose grandchild was abducted during state terrorism. Their recorded voices support the ongoing search for their grandchildren. While some families have been reunited, others are still searching, and some women died without ever embracing their grandchildren.

On his Berlinale-premiered new film, Argentinian filmmaker Perel personally visits 25 industrial sites run by companies that collaborated with the military dictatorship, including multinationals such as Ford and Mercedes-Benz. While filming them through the windscreen of his car, Jerel provides an official account of each enterprise's misdeeds.

How can we tell, in a short film, Argentina's political history through its toys? What fictions, myths, and truths are hidden, rooted in their materiality? With an explicitly Benjaminian spirit, Toys: A Brief Political History proposes to revisit key events in Argentina's history by focusing on unique toys from the country. Far from indulging in nostalgia, the documentary restores to memory those fragments of the material past whose political charge continues to resonate.

Directed by award-winning Argentine filmmaker Alejo Moguillansky, this experimental documentary film offers an effective exploration of the mnemonic and gendered imaginaries of violence in post-dictatorship Argentina. Produced as part of the project "Screening Violence," it was released at the MSA Conference in Newcastle in 2023.

CLOSING CULTURAL EVENTS
A roundtable bringing together leading human rights organisations, including the Mothers and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, CELS, Memoria Abierta, H.I.J.O.S (Children of the Disappeared), Disobedient Stories (relatives of perpetrators), the feminist collective No One Less, and others. The roundtable will be preceded by a short performative reading of Information for Foreigners (1973) by Griselda Gambaro, a leading figure of Teatro Abierto [Open Theatre], a movement of cultural resistance during the dictatorship, based at Picadero Theatre. The reading will be conducted by contemporary feminist actors Laura Paredes and Lorena Vega.

Memory Park & Exhibition "Art and dictatorship"
Memory Park (Parque de la Memoria) is a riverside public memorial in Buenos Aires dedicated to the victims of state terrorism during Argentina's (1976-1983) dictatorship. Created through a collaboration between human rights organisations, the University of Buenos Aires, and the City of Buenos Aires, it combines a monument bearing the names of the disappeared with contemporary public art installations in a space for reflection on memory, human rights, and the principle of "Never Again." The visit also includes The Collection Remembers, an exhibition from the Museo Moderno that engages critically with this legacy through works produced during periods of censorship and democratic transition, addressing collective trauma with compelling insight.

This guided tour explores the history of the former ESMA, focusing on its operation as a clandestine centre for detention, torture, and extermination during Argentina's 1976–1983 military dictatorship, and its transformation into a Site of Memory. The visit includes the ESMA Museum and Site of Memory, housed in what was once the country's largest clandestine detention centre, where more than 5,000 people were held captive.

Vesubio: Roundtable & Site Visit
With the support of the Foundation Elisabeth-Käsemann-Stiftung (EKS)
The former clandestine detention centre known as "El Vesubio" operated between 1976 and 1978 in Buenos Aires Province. More than 1,500 men and women are believed to have been held there. The site was demolished in 1979 ahead of a visit by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. However, archaeological remains and documentary evidence have helped reconstruct its history. Today, El Vesubio is a Space of Memory dedicated to research, education, remembrance, and the promotion of human rights.
The programme includes the roundtable discussion with experts "El Vesubio as a Space for Research, Construction, Learning, and Mourning, followed by a guided visit to the site led by survivors (Transport from Di Tella University and lunch included).

An immersive 360° exhibition offering a sensory exploration of Argentina's last military dictatorship. This digital experience uses sound, movement, and images to evoke fragments of the past through the traces it has left on spaces, objects, and memories. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the multiple meanings these places have acquired over time and to reflect on the relationship between space and memory-a joint project by Di Tella University Digital History Laboratory & the School of Design.
