Citizens of many countries can enter Argentina without a visa. However, citizens of some countries do need a visa to enter Argentina.

Important exception
Citizens of India and China who hold a valid United States visa or a valid U.S. Green Card at the time of entry to Argentina do not need a visa.
If your country requires a visa
If your nationality is on the list of countries that require a visa, you should start the process as early as possible.
If you are traveling to Argentina only to attend the conference and will stay in the country for less than 90 days, you should apply for a tourist visa.
The visa process consists of four steps and ends with an appointment at your local Argentine Embassy or Consulate. Please begin Step 1 as soon as possible.
Step 1: Send your information

Please include the following information:
Full name (exactly as it appears on your passport)
Date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
Gender
Passport number
Nationality
Country and city of residence
Phone number
Email address
City of the Argentine Embassy or Consulate where you will apply
Estimated dates of arrival in and departure from Argentina
Address where you will stay in Argentina
(If not yet known, you will need to make a hotel or apartment reservation. This can be cancelled later.)A scan or clear photo of the identification page of your passport
Step 2: Letter of invitation
Universidad Torcuato Di Tella will send a letter of invitation on your behalf to the indicated Argentine Embassy or Consulate.
The Embassy or Consulate will then generate a visa processing code and send it to the University.
The code will be forwarded to you.
Step 3: Schedule your visa appointment
Once you receive the processing code from us, you can schedule your tourist visa appointment at the Argentine Embassy or Consulate.

Note: The standard visa processing fee is USD 150.
Step 4: Attend your appointment
Attend your visa appointment at the Argentine Embassy or Consulate on the scheduled date, following their instructions.
