Getting to Buenos Aires

Most international flights land at Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza), located about 40 kilometers from the city center.

Transport from the airport

Remises (private cars): cost approximately USD 40–50. They can be booked in advance or upon arrival.

Taxi Ezeiza: recommended option for safety and price. You can book it in advance or directly at the counter located in the arrivals area.

Important! For your safety do not accept rides from people who approach you informally offering transportation.


Other more economical options

Minibus Ezeiza – arrives at Defensa 417, San Telmo. Departures every 30 minutes, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00h.

Manuel Tienda León – arrives at the Obelisco terminal (Carlos Pellegrini 971). Operates every day, every 30 minutes.

Both services cost approximately USD 10.


Public transportation

Bus No. 8: connects the airport with Plaza de Mayo.

  • Duration: about two hours.
