Getting to Buenos Aires

By air

Buenos Aires has two airports. The main international airport is Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza, EZE). Most international flights arrive there, with the exception of some flights from neighboring countries. The airport is located on the outskirts of the city.

Public transportation connections from Ezeiza to the city are limited and not very convenient. The easiest and most reliable way to reach the city is by taxi or Uber. The journey typically takes around 40 minutes, but travel time can be longer during rush hour, especially between 7:00 and 9:00 am.

Some options for booking a car beforehand are On Baires and Taxi Ezeiza.

You can also take a shuttle bus to downtown Buenos Aires. You can book a seat here: Tienda Leon.

The second, smaller airport is Jorge Newbery Airport (Aeroparque, AEP). It serves domestic flights and some flights from neighboring countries. Aeroparque is located within the city, which makes travel to most destinations significantly faster. From the airport, you can easily take a taxi or an Uber.

By bus

Travelers coming from nearby regions of Argentina may also arrive by bus. Most long-distance buses arrive at the Retiro bus terminal, which is well connected to the rest of the city by public transportation, taxi, and Uber.
