Javier Burdman (MSA Prague Program Committee Chair and Local Organizer; Student Assistants Manager)

Javier Burdman is Research Fellow at the Argentine Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET) and Visiting Professor at Torcuato Di Tella University. He was Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Strasbourg and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Research Center "Normative Orders" of the Goethe University Frankfurt. He is the author of The Shadow of Totalitarianism: Action, Judgment, and Evil in Politics (SUNY Press, 2022).





Emmanuel Kahan (Liaison with Publishers)

Emmanuel Kahan is Research Fellow at the Argentine Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET) and Professor National at University of La Plata. He is Coordinator of the Center for Jewish Studies (IDES) and Director of the Diploma in Hate Speech at Ana Frank Center in Argentina. He is the author of Recuerdos que mienten un poco. Vida y memoria de la experiencia judía durante la última dictadura militar (Prometeo, 2015) and Parte del aire. El conflicto árabe-israelí en la cultura y la política argentina (1967-1982) (Prometeo, 2023).




Ramiro Manduca

Ramiro Manduca is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Argentine National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET). He is a member of the Study Group on Art, Culture and Politics in Recent History and the Study Group on Contemporary Theatre, Politics and Society in Latin America at the Gino Germani Scientific Research Institute (UBA). His research focuses on the dynamics of the intellectual and theatrical field during the last military dictatorship and the democratic transition in Argentina. He has formed curatorial teams for various exhibitions. 





Luciana Messina (City Walks Coordinator; Cultural Program Coordinator

Luciana Messina is Research Fellow at the Argentine Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET) and teaches at Buenos Aires University. She is Director at Memory Studies Program (IDES) and part of the editorial board member of Clepsidra. Revista Interdisciplianaria de Estudios sobre Memoria Social. She is the author of articles in national and international books and journals on politics and places of memory, and the categories of victim and witness related to memorial processes about Argentina's dictatorial past.


 


Camila Perochena (Logistics & Catering; Media Manager

Camila Perochena is Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Torcuato Di Tella University and Director of the La Nación–Di Tella Master's Program in Journalism. She has a weekly column on the program "Odisea Argentina" on the LN+ channel. She is the author of Cristina y la Historia. El kirchnerismo y sus batallas por el pasado (Crítica, 2022). She is regular contributor to the newspaper La Nación. Her research focuses on memory studies, the political uses of the past, and presidentialism.






Valentina Salvi (City Walks Coordinator; E-Communication & Dryfta; Liaison with Publishers, Cultural Program Coordinator)

Valentina Salvi  is Research Fellow at the Argentine Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET) and Professor at National University of Tres de Febrero. She is former Director at Memory Studies Program (IDES) and part of the editorial board member of Clepsidra. Revista Interdisciplinaria de Estudios sobre Memoria Social. She edited with Claudia Feld, Las voces de la represión. Las declaraciones de los perpetradores de la dictadura argentina (Miño y Dávila, 2019) and is the author of De vencedores a víctimas. Memorias militares sobre el pasado reciente en la Argentina (Biblos, 2012).
